LETTERPRESS INSTRUCTION - BEGINNING LETTERPRESS

                      The Mackenzie Printery and Newspaper Museum will be holding AN INTRODUCTION TO                       LETTERPRESS SEMINAR May 29, 2010 COMPLETED

INTRODUCTION TO LETTERPRESS PART 1    This will be a one day class on the introduction to letterpress, using hand set type, or cuts from the case and printing on proof press or a table top platen. Each student will be able to design and print a project to take home.  It will start with a quick tour of the Museum showing the different equipment etc,  then move on to the introduction and then the practical instruction .   There will be 6 spots open for the part ! course held on May 29th, 2010  The cost will be $96.00 including a light lunch  or $76.00 for members

INTRODUCTION TO LETTERPRESS PART 1 AND PART 2.    Email us if you are interested in attending a seminar in the fall or over the winter. A list is being put together and dates will be announced. Let us know if you are interested in a beginning course or one that is more advanced.
